RE: show clean pairs of heels on marathon walk

The occasion organised by RBS to support St Richard's Hospice was aimed at getting some of the banks' regional customers to challenge their stamina in these turbulent times and work as a team to walk the 31 miles of the Worcestershire Way.

Setting an impressive time of just under 9 hours last year, the challenge was to beat this previous time and come in first to take the team trophy.

As it was over the Glastonbury weekend the weather was predictably awful, but sponsored by The North Face store in Birmingham it did not stop the team achieving both objectives, finishing well ahead of the field and shaving more half an hour of their previous best.
